Trump visits interfaith Abrahamic Family House in Abu Dhabi

The US President toured three religious buildings – a mosque, a synagogue, and a church – in a unique complex in Abu Dhabi symbolizing peace and cooperation between religions.

US President Donald Trump visited the interfaith complex "Abrahamic Family House" in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, which opened in February 2023.

Accompanied by UAE Minister of Tolerance Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Trump visited three places of worship: the Moses Ben Maimon Synagogue, the Eminence Ahmed El-Tayeb Mosque, and the Catholic Church of St. Francis.

The Abrahamic Family House is not a single religious building but a complex consisting of three separate structures, each serving as a full-fledged religious facility for its respective faith. All three buildings are cubic in shape with identical dimensions (30 by 30 by 30 meters each), symbolizing the equality of the three Abrahamic religions, with each featuring unique architectural details reflecting the specific religious tradition.

These three separate buildings are located on a common one-story base that houses a public space, including a forum and a garden, which serves as a place for interfaith dialogue and interaction.

After visiting the synagogue, the President called what he saw "amazing." Leaving a note in the guestbook, Trump conveyed a "message of unity" to the people of the UAE, stating: "When you look at what we just saw, it's great unity, great faith. They are incredible people with an amazing leader."

Trump's visit to the Abrahamic Family House marked the first time a sitting US President visited this interfaith institution since its opening.

Earlier, the UOJ reported that the Abrahamic Family House was visited by the wife of the President of Ukraine, Zelensky.
