Raiders from the OCU beat a deacon and his son with a stick right on the solea of the cathedral.

Militants of the OCU, who on June 17 seized the Holy Spirit Cathedral for several hours, beat Deacon Dmytro Lakusta and his son inside the church. The footage of the beating was captured by surveillance cameras installed inside the premises.

In the video, a group of militants, entering the cathedral, begins to brutally beat the deacon and his son with sticks, boards, chairs, and feet. Then the clergyman and his son tries to take shelter on the cathedral's solea. But here, too, a new beating begins. The deacon crosses himself, but this does not stop anyone.

As a result, the militants forced the deacon and his son to leave the cathedral. Father Dimitry’s face was bruised after the blows.

Earlier, the UOJ reported that OCU militants brutally beat Father Roman during the seizure, and he was hospitalized with severe head injuries, broken ribs, and suspected internal organ damage. Also, the OCU "prayer warriors" brutally beat Father Vitaliy Honcharuk. He suffered a broken nose and a concussion.
