SBU reps, accompanied by law enforcement officers, arrived at the monastery grounds and have been conducting operational activities there for several hours.

On June 24, 2025, employees of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) came with searches to the Korets Holy Trinity Convent of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church in the Rivne region.

The details of the investigative actions are not yet disclosed, however, as UOJ sources report, SBU employees have been conducting operational activities in the monastery for several hours.

At the time of publication, representatives of the monastery were not provided official comments. There is also no official statement from the SBU regarding the reasons and grounds for the searches.

It should be noted that this is not the first time searches have been conducted at the Koretsky Monastery. In November 2022, SBU officers checked the passports of the nuns, searched their phones, and looked everywhere for “signs of support for Russian aggression” but could not find anything.

Also, in November 2022, leaflets with "sermons" of the ROC Primate were planted in the Korets Monastery.
