Novynskyi: UOC prevents authorities from carrying out anti-people policy

The ex-MP emphasized that the Church calls for love and harmony, while the current government teaches lies and hatred.
Protodeacon of the UOC Vadym Novynskyi stated that the Ukrainian Orthodox Church stands in the way of the authorities' anti-people policy, and that is why it is being persecuted. He said this in an interview with blogger Alexander Shelest.
"This struggle is being waged with triple energy by the authorities against our Church because the Church prevents them from carrying out their anti-people policy," Novynskyi noted.
According to him, the Church always calls for love and harmony, spreads God's truth, while the authorities teach lies, hatred, malice, and the desire for revenge.
"Lies and hatred — this is the foundation of state policy in modern Ukraine. This is what drives all our authorities and those who govern the country at the moment," stated the former MP, emphasizing that "this is a policy of destruction, not a policy of creation".
"You can never build anything on lies and hatred. These things can only destroy, not create. And such a policy can have the most destructive impact on ourselves. Because when a person lives with hatred, with revenge, with lies, they destroy themselves from within. But when one lives with love, when there is peace in their heart, they spread that peace to others and live a happy life," said Fr. Vadym.
Earlier, the UOJ wrote that, according to Fr. Vadym Novynskyi, the authorities have a plan to subjugate the UOC without the Beatitude.
