Viktor Orbán believes that the future of Europe will be shaped not by the war in Ukraine, but by the direction in which civilization develops – Christian or Islamic.

Orbán criticized the policies of European countries which, according to him, allow hundreds of thousands to die on the frontlines of the Russia–Ukraine war, while concurrently opening their doors to millions of migrants from the Islamic world.

“I ask myself, what is the point of Christian European nations killing each other by the hundreds of thousands on the frontlines of the Russia–Ukraine war, while on the other side of the continent we are letting in millions of migrants from an Islamic culture completely alien to us? How is this good for Europe? Can anyone explain the logic of this to me? This is not only shameful, it is utterly abnormal,” Orbán said.

The Hungarian Prime Minister noted that European politicians are overlooking the real historical challenges.

“Perhaps many now see the conflict in Ukraine as important, but it will not determine the future of our children and grandchildren. Their future will depend on an entirely different issue, one that has existed in the Mediterranean for 1,400 years – in which direction our civilization will develop: Christian or Islamic?” Orbán emphasized.

Earlier, the UOJ reported that according to Orbán, the EU rejects its Christian heritage and facilitates the advance of LGBT ideology.
