Polish cleric: Uniates attract Ukrainians by posing as Orthodox

UGCC priests are organizing parishes in Poland for Ukrainian refugees, posing as Orthodox.
Priest of the Polish Church Marek Bonifatiuk commented on a post on Archbishop Iona's Facebook stating that UGCC clerics are setting up parishes in Poland for Ukrainian refugees, positioning themselves as Orthodox.
"Here in Poland, they are creating pastoral centers in Roman Catholic churches. They did the same in my city and on the German side. On Sunday, a young priest from Ukraine serves the liturgy there and in two other cities. He attracts Ukrainians because he does not say he is a Greek Catholic. Refugees go there and write that they attend the Ukrainian Orthodox Church. And this liar doesn't even want to mention what kind of church it is," wrote Fr. Marek, adding that "wolves in sheep's clothing are stealing the lost sheep".
Earlier, the UOJ reported that the head of the UGCC, Sviatoslav Shevchuk, called on the Ukrainian authorities to fight with UOC communities abroad.
