All interested Orthodox Christians, parishioners of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, are invited to participate in the training.

Orthodox Petro Mohyla Catechetical Courses, operating at the Kyiv Theological Academy, have started enrollment for training, reports the press service of KDAiS.

"The purpose of the courses is to engage the faithful of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church in an in-depth study of the teachings of the Orthodox Church and to assist Sunday school teachers in teaching», the message states.

The training is conducted both online and in a day format. For remote students who will study on the ZOOM platform, the Catechetical (3 years) and Liturgical Statute and Reading (2 years) Departments are open.

The day form of education operates at the UOC churches in Kyiv and offers the «Church Singing» department (for adults and children), as well as the «Iconography» department with the possibility of basic education and advanced training.

Additionally, electives (online) in ancient languages are conducted for students.

The course instructors are candidates, masters of theology, teaching at the Kyiv Theological Academy and Seminary, and long-term teachers of the Orthodox Catechetical Courses.

Scanned documents for admission to the Orthodox Catechetical Courses should be sent to the course's email: [email protected]
