In Bila Tserkva, TRC employees detain UOC priest
Father Vadym Olianytsky was detained in the morning on his way to the church, later he was released, but on Monday he must appear at the TRC according to the summons.
On September 12, 2025, TRC employees abducted a clergyman of the Bila Tserkva Eparchy of the UOC. This was reported by the Telegram channel «Pershyi Kozatskyi».
As journalists learned, in the first half of the day, the rector of the St. George's Church-Chapel of the UOC in Bila Tserkva, Father Vadym Olianytsky, disappeared on his way from home to the church.
It turned out that the clergyman was illegally detained by TRC employees and was not even allowed to inform his family and teh eparchy of his whereabouts.
Later it became known that Father Vadym was released, but on Monday he must appear at the TRC by summons.
The priest thanks everyone for their prayers.
As reported by the UOJ, mobilized priests are subjected to pressure in the units.
