Dumenko discusses with diplomats UOC's "destructive influence" abroad
The head of the OCU awarded Uniate diplomats with a church order.
On September 18, 2025, the head of the OCU, Serhiy (Epifaniy) Dumenko, received in his residence two diplomat brothers: Markiyan and Roman Lubkivskyis.
It is reported that the parties discussed "advocacy activities in support of Ukraine in the world, as well as the activities abroad of the Moscow Patriarchate structures and their destructive influence on forced Ukrainian migrants."
Usually, Dumenko refers to the UOC when mentioning the "Moscow Patriarchate". The specific examples of the "destructive influence" of the UOC on Ukrainians abroad discussed at the meeting were not specified in the OCU press service text.
Dumenko also awarded the diplomat brothers with the OCU Order of Archangel Michael II degree. The Lubkivskyi brothers position themselves as Greek Catholics.
Earlier, the UOJ reported that another recipient of orders from Epifaniy Dumenko was detained.
