Pilgrims from the Chernivtsi–Bukovyna Eparchy of the UOC met with His Beatitude Patriarch Theophilos III of Jerusalem and continue their journey through the holy sites of Jerusalem, Bethlehem, and Galilee.
A pilgrimage group of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church is making a journey to the Holy Land, visiting Jerusalem, Bethlehem, and Galilee.
According to the Pilgrimage Department of the Chernivtsi–Bukovyna Eparchy of the UOC, the pilgrims have already met with His Beatitude the Patriarch of Jerusalem and received his archpastoral blessing.
The participants of the pilgrimage are visiting the holy places associated with the earthly life of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Most Holy Theotokos, and the apostles, having the opportunity to offer prayers before the greatest shrines of the Christian world.
Earlier, the UOJ reported that a hierarch of the Jerusalem Patriarchate had called on the international community to stop the persecution of the UOC.
