The daughter of the founder of a radical Islamic movement shared her story of finding faith in Christ.

The daughter of Hamas leader Juman Al-Qawasmi shared in an interview with CBN News her dramatic conversion to Christianity. This was reported by Christian News. Juman Al Qawasmi described her childhood and early adult life as shaped by a strict upbringing in Qatar and Gaza, where her family taught her to hate Israel, Jews, Christians, and even Muslims who were not part of Hamas. Al Qawasmi said: “I just want to say, sorry, that we used to curse all the Christian and the Jewish. We feel like we should kill them, because this is what Quran say… Yeah, it’s crazy.”

She was married to a Hamas member for 13 years but began to have serious doubts about Islam

after witnessing the group’s violent control of Gaza.

“I never been satisfied with God. I never felt God would be happy with me. Islam does not give you peace… I start thinking, God, if you exist, I want to know you,” Al Qawasmi continued.

Al Qawasmi recounted a life-changing dream in 2014, where she saw “Jesus’ face coming out the moon, and he was speaking to me in Arabic”. She revealed that he said: “You are my daughter, don’t be afraid.”

“I felt peace inside my heart… for the first time, I felt like someone loved me,” she added.

"I truly believe that Jesus loves Muslims. He loves so much! He wants us to be free from fear. He wants to see us free... We just need to turn our gaze to Jesus and believe that He is the way, that He is the only way. And He is the greatest Man! No one else!" Al Qawasmi concluded her story.
