In Hnidyn, St. Nicholas Church of UOC damaged by shelling
As a result of shelling, the St. Nicholas Church of the UOC in the village of Hnidyn of the Boryspil Eparchy was damaged.
On February 21, 2026, as a result of shelling, the St. Nicholas Church of the UOC in the village of Hnidyn of the Boryspil Eparchy was damaged, report local sources who shared video footage of the aftermath of the strike.
Judging by the published footage, the church building sustained significant destruction. Inside, the vault and ceiling completely collapsed, and the premises are covered with debris of plaster and concrete.
Part of the structure is essentially left under the open sky – concrete slabs are destroyed, and wooden structures are damaged and collapsed. Large fragments of construction materials are visible on the floor.
Earlier, the UOJ wrote that the Konotop Eparchial Administration is under repair after shelling.
