Bishop Arseniy was freed from pretrial detention after a year and ten months behind bars.

On February 25, 2026, the Chechelivskyi District Court of Dnipro ruled to change the preventive measure for Metropolitan Arseniy, abbot of the Sviatohirsk Lavra, from detention in custody to house arrest.
