Zaluzhnyi prays at London UGCC cathedral on anniversary of war’s outbreak
Zaluzhnyi and Britain's Defense Minister came to a Uniate cathedral.
Ukraine’s Ambassador to the United Kingdom, Valerii Zaluzhnyi, and the UK’s Secretary of State for Defence, John Healey, prayed for those killed in the war at the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Cathedral in London on February 24, 2026. The information was released by the UGCC Information Department.
“For all these years, Ukrainians have bravely fought for their freedom and their future, even when at the very beginning we were told we had no chance. We endured because we are a courageous people. We endured because we are united,” Zaluzhnyi wrote on social media.
Earlier, the UOJ reported that Valerii Zaluzhnyi had spoken about being ready to kill for Ukraine.
