Kyiv UOC Eparchy holds aid drive for children and people with disabilities
In Boyarka, Kyiv region, more than 50 families received food and clothing as part of a charitable outreach held on the eve of the feast of the Entry of the Lord into Jerusalem.
On April 4, 2026, a charitable initiative was held in the Kyiv region to support children, people with disabilities, and large families, according to the Telegram channel of the UOC Synodal Department for Social and Humanitarian Affairs.
Humanitarian aid was delivered to residents of the city of Boyarka. The initiative was carried out with the participation of church social service groups.
With support from the Grow Up in a Family Foundation, those in need received food packages as well as clothing. In total, more than 50 families received assistance.
Archpriest Andriy Dvorovskyi, head of the Kyiv Eparchy’s Department for Social Ministry and Charity, thanked the benefactors who took part in the effort.
The priest emphasized that Pascha is a time of renewal and expressed the hope that this season would bring peace, love, and goodness into every life.
Earlier, the UOJ reported that the UOC’s social department in Kyiv had supported 100 displaced families.
