The Khmelnytskyi Eparchy of the UOC, together with benefactors, delivered humanitarian aid to pupils of the Yampil special school.

On May 6, 2026, the Khmelnytskyi Eparchy of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, together with the charitable organization “God Is with Us,” delivered humanitarian aid to children of the Yampil special school of the Khmelnytskyi Regional Council, the Telegram channel of the UOC Synodal Department reports.

More than 100 children aged 6 to 18 study and live at the Yampil special school. Necessary everyday items were prepared and delivered for the pupils.

The eparchy noted that supporting children and people in need of care and attention remains one of the important areas of the Church’s social ministry. Such charitable initiatives are carried out on an ongoing basis.

The organizers stressed that every item delivered is not only material support, but also an act of mercy, care, and Christian love for one’s neighbor.

The message also recalled the words of Holy Scripture: “Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy.”

Earlier, the UOJ wrote that the UOC's Social Department in Kyiv had delivered aid to 100 displaced families.
