The center’s administration thanked the faithful for their support and assistance.
The Ukrainian Orthodox Church parish dedicated to the Pochaiv Icon of the Mother of God in Cologne, Germany, has provided a new ultrasound machine to the Klishkivtsi Primary Healthcare Center. This charitable donation from Orthodox faithful abroad has strengthened the technical capabilities of the medical institution in the Chernivtsi region, according to the Department for External Church Relations of the UOC.
The center’s administration expressed its gratitude to the Orthodox Christians for their support and assistance. In turn, the faithful thanked everyone who contributed to the fundraising effort and helped organize and deliver the equipment to Ukraine.
“It is precisely through such joint efforts that living Christian love and genuine unity are manifested,” said Archpriest Serhii Haievskyi, rector of the Cologne parish. The priest wished God’s blessing and reward upon all those who took part in the initiative for their open hearts and compassion.
As the UOJ reported, the Khmelnytskyi Eparchy donated medical supplies to the hospital in Starokostiantyniv.
