In a Milan church, a worship service in honor of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus was turned into a venue for LGBT propaganda.

On June 12, 2026, Roman Catholic Church hierarch Archbishop Mario Delpini presided over a Mass for members of the Italian LGBT group "Il Gruppo del Guado" at the church of San Carlo al Lazzaretto in Milan, reports the Life Site News.

The service was held on the occasion of the Feast of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, while the liturgy's promotional materials displayed rainbow symbolism in the church's décor. During his homily, Abp. Mario Delpini told the assembled activists that "the Lord has bound Himself to you and chosen you... because He loves you."

The event turned into a major scandal after photographs from the Mass appeared on social media. One of the attendees came wearing a blasphemous T-shirt depicting Christ in rainbow-colored robes with the inscription "Ah Men" — an erotic pun on the liturgical word "Amen." The activist later publicly boasted that he had repeated this phrase at the very moment he received communion from the Archbishop's hands.

The organization "Il Gruppo del Guado," founded back in 1980, openly declares its goal to be the "spiritual accompaniment" of homosexuals within the Catholic Church. Such actions by the hierarch represent another step in the liberalization of the Italian episcopate.

As early as October 2025, the Italian Bishops' Conference published a document titled "Lievito di Pace e di Speranza," in which it called on the Church to support pride marches and introduce gender identity education programs for minors.

As the UOJ reported, an LGBT organization mocked Christ on social media.
