Primate of Macedonian Church congratulates Lavra's abbot on name day
Archbishop Stefan noted the zeal of the Lavra's abbot, who shares the sorrows of his flock.
The Primate of the Macedonian Orthodox Church sent congratulations to the abbot of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra on the Feast of the Holy Chief Apostles Peter and Paul.
In his message, His Beatitude Stefan noted that in his archpastoral ministry, Metropolitan Pavel manifests the zeal and love of his heavenly patrons. The head of the Macedonian Church emphasized the importance of the fact that the Abbot of the monastery shares all labors and sorrows together with the spiritual flock entrusted to him.
The hierarch wished the name-day celebrant God's help and the intercession of the Most Holy Theotokos on his further path. "We pray to the All-Merciful God to strengthen you in soul and body, granting you many more years of episcopal ministry, an abundance of virtues, firmness of will, and steadfastness in prayer," the message reads.
As the UOJ reported, Dumenko referred to the Tomos of the Macedonian Church as "so-called".
