An enemy shell damaged the building of the parish in honor of the Protection of the Mother of God. The ruling hierarch expressed deep sympathy to the rector and parishioners of the damaged shrine. The Metropolitan offered prayers to the Merciful God for the preservation of the people, the speedy restoration of the church, and the cessation of enemy shelling.
