Volunteers of UOC Synodal Dept feed about 100 homeless near railway station
In Kyiv, employees and volunteers of the Synodal Department of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church for Social and Humanitarian Affairs organized a charity dinner for the homeless, refugees and displaced persons, as well as pensioners who found themselves in difficult life circumstances, reports the Telegram channel "Tserkva dopomahaye".
According to the volunteers, about 100 people were fed a hot meal on September 18, 2026. Such charity meals near the Southern Railway Station of the capital have become a tradition. The organizers emphasized that they need the support of believers in order to continue feeding those who are left without shelter, family support, and means of subsistence.
As the UOJ reported, the Social Department of the UOC provided food packages to 100 families of displaced persons.
