Priest from Kamianske pressured to sign military contract
Today, Father Rostislav was forced to wear a military uniform.
Fr. Rostislav Kalinovsky of the UOC from Kamianske, who was again summoned to the TRC under the pretext of document approval, is being pressured to sign a contract for armed service in the AFU. This was reported to the UOJ by the priest's mother.
The woman managed to find out that today, June 25, 2025, Fr. Rostislav was made to sign for the military uniform he was forced to wear.
"He was under pressure. However, he said he would not sign the contract and would not take the oath. As far as I know, they want him to take the oath in two days," she said.
According to her information, today her son will again be taken to an unknown location.
"I ask for prayers that Father Rostislav withstands this pressure, that they do not break him," the priest's mother asks.
Earlier, the UOJ reported that employees of the Kamianske TRC detained Fr. Rostislav on June 19, 2025. On June 20, the clergyman was driven around various military units all day, where they refused to accept him. Two days later, he was eventually released. But on June 24, he was taken again to the TRC. Relatives are asking for assistance in his release.
