The UOC community has been praying outdoors for two years now.

On August 6, 2025, the faithful of the UOC parish of Saints Boris and Gleb in Vyshhorod, Kyiv region, celebrated their patronal feast near the fence of their church. This was reported on the Telegram channel "Dozor".

After the brutal seizure of the church by OCU raiders, the parish has to pray in the open air.

For two years, the faithful have been conducting services near the fence of their ancient shrine and have to celebrate the day of their holy patrons outside the church for the second time.

"Despite the occupation of the shrine, the hatred and provocation of Epifaniy's activists, Orthodox Christians have preserved their fervent faith. The joy, true Christian love, and unity of the UOC parishioners cannot go unnoticed," notes Dozor.

As reported by the UOJ, on August 5, the persecuted UOC community in the village of Pasichna celebrated their patronal feast.
