The "Favor" Foundation conducted a charitable campaign, within which 1,115 Easter cakes were distributed to those in need in different regions of Ukraine, as reported on the Telegram channel of the "Favor" Charitable Foundation.

Easter treats were delivered to Kyiv, where they went to the Church of Saint Joasaph of Belgorod and the Church of the "Quick to Hearken" Icon of the Mother of God, which operate charitable refectories. Easter cakes were also received by those in need at feeding points of the Oleksandriia, Kharkiv, and Sumy eparchies.

Separate batches were sent to the frontline cities of Kherson and Bilozerske, Donetsk region, as well as to a nursing home in the Odesa region.

The organizers noted that along with the cakes, the names of donors were given for prayerful commemoration. According to them, the aim of the initiative was to remind people experiencing difficulties about the joy of Christ's Resurrection.

As the UOJ wrote, last year about 8,500 people received aid from the "Favor" Foundation in the frontline zone.
