Primate of Czech Church congratulates His Beatitude Onuphry on his name day

The Primate of the Orthodox Church of the Czech Lands and Slovakia wished the Primate of the UOC strength and God’s help in his ministry on his Angel Day.

His Beatitude Metropolitan Rastislav, Primate of the Orthodox Church of the Czech Lands and Slovakia, congratulated His Beatitude Metropolitan Onuphry of Kyiv and All Ukraine on his name day. This was reported by the Information and Education Department of the UOC.

In a congratulatory letter dated June 25, 2026, Metropolitan Rastislav wished the Primate of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church the peace of Christ, strength of soul and body, and the grace-filled help of the Holy Spirit in his primatial ministry.

“In our prayers, we constantly ask the merciful God to grant you the peace of Christ, strength of soul and body, and the grace-filled help of the Holy Spirit in your lofty primatial ministry for the good of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church,” the greeting reads.

The Primate of the Orthodox Church of the Czech Lands and Slovakia also wished His Beatitude good health, many years, and abundant help from God in all his labors and endeavors.

“Through the intercessions of our venerable father Onuphrius the Great, may the all-bountiful Lord preserve you in good health for many blessed years, sending down His rich mercy upon you in all your labors and endeavors!” Metropolitan Rastislav noted.

As the UOJ reported, on June 25, 2026, the Ukrainian Orthodox Church marks the name day of its Primate, His Beatitude Metropolitan Onuphry of Kyiv and All Ukraine.
