Ex-Ukrainian Minister's Publishing House Released an Anti-Christian Book

Ukrainian publishing house Arc.ua, founded by former Minister of Health Ulyana Suprun, has released and is actively promoting the book "The End of Faith" by American publicist Sam Harris, which contains sharp criticism of Christianity and other religions.

According to the publisher's description, the author presents religion as a force that has historically shaped people's thinking, and calls into question the taboos surrounding critical analysis of religious dogmas. Harris urges abandoning "supernatural authorities" in matters of morality and choosing a secular-humanist approach based on data from neuroscience and philosophy.

Indignation over this was expressed even by "Right Sector," which had previously supported Suprun. On their Facebook page, the radicals lamented that Ulyana Suprun grew up in a Christian family and worked at the Ukrainian Catholic University, yet the publishing house she leads is promoting a book with anti-Christian content.

Ulyana Suprun had previously drawn criticism when she spoke about the situation of LGBT individuals in churches in the United States and called on Ukrainians to support this agenda.
