A chapel in honor of St. Amphilochius of Pochaev was consecrated in Stuzhytsia

In the Mukachevo Diocese of the UOC, a new chapel in honor of St. Amphilochius of Pochaev was consecrated. This was reported by the official website of the diocese.
By the blessing of Metropolitan Feodor of Mukachevo and Uzhhorod, on August 22, 2026, the rite of consecration in the village of Stuzhytsia, Uzhhorod district, was performed by Bishop Hilariy of Svalyava, vicar of the Mukachevo Diocese.
Near the newly built chapel, a water-blessing molieben was served, during which special prayers were offered for peace in Ukraine, the cessation of the war, and the health of the servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
After the conclusion of the service, Bishop Hilariy conveyed the archpastoral blessing and warm wishes from Metropolitan Feodor to those present. The bishop also thanked the rector of St. Michael's Church in the village of Stuzhytsia, Archpriest Viktor Petryk, and all those who participated in the construction of the chapel, expressing the hope that the new holy place would become a center of prayer and spiritual strengthening for local residents.
As the UOJ reported, Metropolitan Feodor of Mukachevo consecrated a new church at the monastery in the village of Rakoshyno.
