TRC detains rector of UOC church in Brytavka
TRC officers took Archpriest Dymytrii Kolchenko to Haisyn.
TRC officers detained Archpriest Dymytrii Kolchenko, rector of a Ukrainian Orthodox Church parish in the village of Brytavka. According to UOJ sources, the incident took place on September 3, 2026, in the Chechelnyk district of the Tulchyn Eparchy.
Military enlistment officers are taking the UOC cleric to the city of Haisyn. The faithful are asking for prayers for their abducted pastor.

As the UOJ reported, the Lubny TRC ignored an appeal from parishioners of an abducted priest.
