Shepetivka Eparchy clergy deliver humanitarian aid to Izium
Clergy of the Shepetivka Eparchy delivered food and preserved goods to Izium residents facing difficult circumstances.
Clergy of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church’s Shepetivka Eparchy traveled to the city of Izium to deliver humanitarian aid to local residents, the UOC Information and Education Department reports.
The visitors were welcomed by Archpriest Bohdan Dumyndiak, dean of the Ascension Cathedral in Izium. On behalf of Archbishop John of Izium and Kupiansk, he expressed heartfelt gratitude to the delegation for their Christian love, care, and fraternal support for the city’s residents.
The priests of the Shepetivka Eparchy delivered food, vegetables, preserved goods, and other essential provisions. The donated supplies will help people facing difficult circumstances.
At the end of the meeting, the clergy prayed together before the wonderworking Pishchanska Icon of the Mother of God, asking the Most Holy Theotokos for her intercession and help.
The Izium Eparchy’s press service expressed sincere gratitude to the clergy and all benefactors who helped collect and deliver the humanitarian aid for their generosity and support.
Earlier, the UOJ reported that the Shepetivka Eparchy had delivered aid to the Sviatohirsk Lavra.
