Kyiv declared July 3 a Day of Mourning following Russia's attack
In Kyiv, flags will be lowered and entertainment events cancelled in memory of those killed as a result of Russia's attack.
July 3 was declared a Day of Mourning in Kyiv for those killed as a result of the Russian attack on the capital, which claimed the lives of at least 13 people, according to Ukrainska Pravda.
According to Klitschko, on that day state flags will be flown at half-mast on all municipal buildings in Kyiv. City authorities also recommended doing the same on the buildings of state institutions and privately owned facilities.
Furthermore, on July 3 the holding of any entertainment events was banned in the capital. This decision was made in memory of those killed as a result of the strike on the city.
The Mayor of Kyiv noted that the search and rescue operation at the damaged residential building in the Darnytskyi district is ongoing. According to him, people may still be trapped under the rubble.
It was previously reported that as a result of the Russian attack on Kyiv, residential buildings and urban infrastructure facilities were destroyed and damaged. Rescuers and municipal services are working at the sites.
The Union of Orthodox Journalists previously reported that a UOC church in Kyiv was damaged due to the shelling.
